The Museum Studies Certificate Program is a professional program for students considering a career in, or already employed in, any kind of museum work. It involves course work and internships; the Museum Studies Program places students in internships in museums throughout the metropolitan area.
The certificate requires 24 points beyond the M.A. Eight points of Museum Studies course work may be accepted as electives toward the Draper M.A., so the master's degree and the certificate combined require a total of 48 points (24 in Draper/GSAS, 24 in Museum Studies). Students interested in the certificate must apply to the Museum Studies Program.
